We’re planning a relaxed, sociable day focused on spending real time together. With informal food and no formal place settings, the emphasis is on chatting, dancing and enjoying the moment together.
Our celebrations begin at 1:30pm with reception drinks, followed by our ceremony led by our best friends. Afterwards, there’ll be time to celebrate, mingle and take photos before sitting down to some proper pub grub.
Our first dance will mark the start of the Garden Party — lawn games, ice cream, dancing and a British–Venezuelan fusion of music and energy.
Evening guests will join us towards the end of the Garden Party and gather with us as we cut the cake. From there, the disco classics, Hora Loca and party anthems will take over. Pizza will be served later in the evening to refuel us for more dancing.
Music will finish at 10:00pm, with final drinks in the pub before Worsley Old Hall closes at 11:00pm.
For anyone who would like to join us, we’ll head next door for a relaxed night cap at the hotel bar — a gentle way to round off the day together.
What Is a Hora Loca?
A Hora Loca, meaning “The Crazy Hour,” is a vibrant Venezuelan wedding tradition that transforms the evening into a high-energy, carnival-style celebration. The music shifts to lively Latin classics and festive percussion, colourful props fill the room, and the dance floor comes alive with movement and excitement. Guests are invited to wear playful hats, masks, and glow accessories as everyone joins in the spirited fun. It’s a joyful way to honor Lino’s Venezuelan roots — and it’s going to be unforgettable.
